What a Difference a Day Makes

Or more like 180 days or so. That's right...on Saturday, our little girl will be 6 months old. The time has absolutely flown by. It's been one hell of a ride. Not only have we been able to watch Courtney grow right before our eyes, but we have had the fun of learning how to be parents along the way! Did I say fun? What I meant to say was...we still have no idea what we're doing and we're just playing the whole thing by ear. But, she's still alive and kicking, so I guess we're doing OK so far.

Update on Cat... She's growing. Probably about 14 pounds, but we won't know for sure until her 6 month appointment next week. She's talking a ton, smiling all the time, and beginning to teethe. Or we think she's beginning to teethe. It's about that time and she's drooling all over the place. As soon as she bites me, I'll let you know.

Other than that, we've gotten into a good routine. Then that will all go to hell when Liz goes back to work on October 1. No one's looking forward to that. We did luck out in that Courtney will simply be traveling across the street to her daycare provider. Our neighbor had a baby on the Fourth of July and decided not to go back to work. So she'll be looking after our little one when Liz goes back to work. It won't be easy, but I suppose it could be worse.

Now, the moment you've been waiting for...new pics! The first picture is an early one from the hospital, just so you can see how much she's changed. It's amazing how far she's come, and it's only the beginning.
