Frustration Builds
No real news to report. She's getting bigger (5 pounds, 6 ounces), but she's still not eating properly. She's 6 weeks old today. That means Liz and I have been travelling back and forth to the hospital on a daily basis for a month and a half now. It's getting old. It'll be nice when she's finally home...then we can establish some sort of normal schedule.
Of course, with no idea of when that might be, we better gas up the car for today's trip.

5 lbs. 6 oz. WOW!! She's doing really well in the catagory of "weight gaining". Hopefully it will be very soon that she learns the breathing/eating technique. I know it must be so very frustrating to you guys not having her home yet...but try to keep looking at the "milestones" Courtney has already reached. As the saying goes, "you've come a looong way baby!" I pray that she will get the hang of eating right very soon.
Love,
Aunt Tricia

Hey T,
Remember all your patience will pay off especially when she is running the point at UCONN. You, Liz & Courtney are in my thoughts. See you on the Friday before Memorial Day.

It's good to hear that she is gaining wieght so steadily and that Liz's "task" every 3 hours is paying off. I am sure that she will get the hang of eating and breathing any time now and then suddenly you won't know what to do with her, she be growing so fast! Your Patience will pay off! Think of it as boot camp for parents when she becomes a 2 year old and can't stop asking "why?". Adrienne
